Frequently asked questions
How do we check if our date is available?
Fill out the booking form (below or on the Booking page) or call (614) 802-7987. A real band member replies within 1-2 business days with availability and details – usually with a follow-up call. No deposit is required just to check a date.
How far in advance should we book?
Peak dates (May through October Saturdays, New Year’s Eve) book out 12-18 months ahead. Off-season and Friday/Sunday dates are often still open a few months out. If you have your heart set on a date, ask early – and if we’re already booked, we’ll tell you straight away.
What does a Martini Affair event include?
The full package: a five-piece dance band (two lead vocalists, guitar, bass and drums), MC services from Brandon and Tiffany, professional sound and lighting crews, and DJ coverage during breaks. Ceremony music, cocktail and dinner sets and all the classic event moments are part of the plan.
What happens between sets?
No dead air. Our drummer John is an experienced wedding DJ and keeps the dance floor supplied during the band’s breaks – your guests won’t even notice the band stepped away.
Can you learn special songs?
Yes. First dances, father-daughter, introductions and must-play singalongs are all handled – we purchase, arrange and edit the music for your special dances during planning. The earlier you send your list, the more polished it sounds on the night.
Do you travel?
Columbus is home, but we’ve played throughout the Midwest and beyond – Cleveland, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Wheeling, the Lake Erie islands – and we travel worldwide for the right event. Travel adds a modest line item; ask for a quote with your date.
What does the venue need to provide?
A level performance space and standard power access – we handle the rest. Our crews bring the sound and the lights, load in early, soundcheck before guests arrive, and tear down after the last song.
How much planning is on us?
Almost none. We invest up to 40 hours preparing for your event – consultations, timeline building, music edits and setlist prep. You share your vision; we make it happen. That’s the peace-of-mind half of our promise.
